Play’n GO has released Cursed Moon Power Collection, a gothic horror slot built around coin gathering, a rising multiplier, and a layered progression system.
Dante’s Vengeful Transformation
At the center of the game is Dante, a vampire hunter who has been turned into the creature he once fought. Instead of surrendering to that curse, he rejects the vampire path and sets out to defeat Dracula while fighting to recover his humanity.
The setting reinforces that grim storyline with haunted woods, looming castle shapes, and a moon tinted deep red. Familiar horror symbols, including wolves, zombies, Mr. Hyde, and vampires, are woven into the reel design.
Core Reel Action and Collection Features
The game uses a five-reel, four-row layout, and winning combinations are made by matching adjacent symbols from left to right.
- Coin symbols appear on the middle reels and serve as the main collection target.
- Slay Collector symbols land on the outer reels and trigger collection when paired with Coins or Instant Win symbols.
- The Soul Fire multiplier can build during the base game once its symbol lands on the fifth reel.
That multiplier boosts the value of collected Coins and Instant Win symbols, but it does not increase regular payline wins. This keeps the collection system separate from standard line payouts and gives the feature its own role in the game’s pace.
Five Stages of Progression
A five-level progression meter adds another layer of advancement. Level Up symbols move the meter forward during both the base game and Free Spins, but Free Spins are where each new level starts unlocking extra power.
As the player climbs higher, collection events can be doubled and stacked Money symbols may appear on the middle reels. At the top level, every spin guarantees an Instant Win symbol, making the feature set more aggressive as the run continues.
Progress is not always lost if the meter is incomplete on the first pass. During Free Spins, Level Lock symbols can hold onto advancement so the player can return later from the locked point instead of starting over.
Play’n GO’s Design Intent
Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said the title was built to mirror Dante’s growing strength as he hunts. The collection system, multiplier, and level structure all work together to reflect that sense of escalation.
He added that the result gives the slot a darker identity, with every major mechanic feeding into the same feeling of rising tension. For players, that means the story and the gameplay move in lockstep from the first spin to the final level.
